Terms of Service

Effective date: July 11, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Workspace Historian (the "App"), a Slack application operated by Sibivel C ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the Slack workspace you represent.

1. What the App does

Workspace Historian reads messages in public Slack channels it has been explicitly invited to, uses AI to identify team decisions and propose structured knowledge-base entries, and requires a human curator to approve every entry before it is published. Full detail on what data is collected, how it's used, and how long it's kept is in our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and accounts

The App is installed and used through Slack; you must have a valid Slack account and the necessary permissions in your workspace to install and administer it. We do not create or manage any account separate from your Slack identity.

3. AI-generated content

The App uses AI to generate decision summaries and answers. AI-generated content can be inaccurate or incomplete. Every entry links back to the original conversation — always verify against that source before relying on the summary. We are not responsible for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content without such verification.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to violate any law, Slack's own terms of service, or the rights of others, and not to attempt to circumvent the App's access controls (e.g. by probing channels it hasn't been invited to) or its human-review gate.

5. Availability and changes

The App is provided on an "as available" basis, free during the current beta period. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and may change pricing in the future with advance notice. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

6. Termination

You may uninstall the App from your Slack workspace at any time. Upon uninstall, we delete all stored data for your workspace within 30 days, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access to the App for any workspace that violates these Terms.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including reliance on AI-generated content.

9. Relationship to Slack

Workspace Historian is not created by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Slack Technologies or Salesforce. Your use of Slack itself remains governed by Slack's own terms of service.
